I'd just like to point out that Roger Simon, a man whose life, thanks to 9/11 (a brutal but solitary event) changed "forever," believes that, in the Grand Scheme o' Things, the Virginia Tech murders (also, in scale, a singular occurrence) are not a Big Deal .
He may be right -- there is, say the kiddies, a first time for everything -- but the irony amuses me. I assume the call to invade Korea is forthcoming.
