When Charlie Brooker is for two years running the rock star attraction at the premiere progressive convention in the United States, shares a podium with the three leading Democratic candidates for President and former Vice President Gore, gets lovingly introduced by Barack Obama, gets the biggest applause at said convention, goes on to write a handful of New York Times best sellers about what evil theocratic wackjobs conservatives are, and you can, this minute, produce two dozen more equally offensive quotes from him, you may have a point.
