Read the Obits, Rosenbaum

Brilliant investigative journalist-turned-Pajamas Media darling, Ron Rosenbaum, has gotten a plum fellowship at the University of Chicago. Says he:

Am told the univeristy is putting me up in a restored apartment building across the street from where [Saul] Bellow lived “with his third wife” (out of five so far). (is this arn argument for or against love?).

"So far"? Memo to Ron: if the late Mr. Bellow doesn't return your calls, don't be discouraged! I hear that Leo Strauss is looking for a bridge partner.

[I'm willing to entertain the possibility that Ron is joking. But I don't think he is.]
