THAT'S WHAT WE GET FOR LISTENING TO THE SENATE: Iraqis blame U.S. for delaying surge. War rewards decisiveness; the Senate is about deliberation. That's why we have a unitary executive.Er, who said we have a unitary executive? Plenty of people not named Alito, Gonzales, or Yoo don't seem to think so.
Also, the New York Times article Putz links to actually begins,
A growing number of Iraqis blamed the United States on Sunday for creating conditions that led to the worst single suicide bombing in the war, which devastated a Shiite market in Baghdad the day before. The Iraqis are not upset at the US Senate but the Bush adminstration. It is their incompetence that created conditions which have allowed sectarian violence to escalate -- the same violence that Bush apologists like Putz have been insisting for three years was a creation of the liberal media.
John Dean was right -- Bush followers like Putz aren't conservatives, they're authoritarian cultists.
