Those mean Democrats, again.

Bob Novak calls Senate Democrats "rude" because they didn't swoon and coo when Bush so very graciously offered to actually consult with them on the war via a "bipartisan advisory council." Presumably one that would be headed up by Joe Lieberman (JLP-CT).

Where was this oh-so-generous bipartisan offer when the Democrats were in the minority for the past 6 years? And since when does Bush listen to anyone? Wasn't Baker-Hamilton bipartisan?
Democrats have cause to be skeptical. Bush created a bipartisan commission on the war, co-chaired by his father's secretary of state, James Baker, then gave the group the back of his hand when it didn't recommend what he wanted.
Indeed. And he also said during the campaign that the Democrats wanted "the terrorists to win" so I don't know why Bush would want to consult with them, anyway.

They're just so mean.
