The fantastic idiocy of the right wing blogosphere.

Putz is in full-on point and shriek mode about Kerry's supposed insult of the troops. The NPL (non-partisan libertarian) just can't help but spread partisan lies about a Democrat, who happens to be a decorated veteran. Nor can his female clones Althouse and Malkin.

To recap: Kerry clarified the remark. Kerry has used the line, which he botched, before. It is obvious from the context that Kerry was talking about the President. Last night on "Hardball", two Republicans in the form of Dick Armey and Matthew Dowd stipulated as much.

Does Putz actually believe that Kerry wasn't criticizing the President and his failure in Iraq?

Well, Kerry's not having any of it. Good.
That [remark], Kerry said, was meant as a reference to Mr. Bush, not troops. Kerry said it is the president who owes U.S. soldiers an apology — for "a Katrina foreign policy" that misled the country into war in Iraq, failed to adequately study and plan for the aftermath, has not properly equipped troops and has expanded the terrorist threat.

"I'm sick and tired of a bunch of despicable Republicans who will not debate real policy, who won't take responsibility for their own mistakes, standing up and trying to make other people the butt of those mistakes," he said. "It disgusts me that a bunch of these Republican hacks who've never worn the uniform of our country are willing to lie about those who did."
Does Putz and the wingnutosphere actually believe that this manufactured outrage is going to keep them the House?

I really hope they've got something else. They're going to be so disappointed when this doesn't work.

Why is it that Reynolds never served? Why is it he never mentions his teaching anymore? Why doesn't he mention his father anymore? He invites psychoanalysis, as he twists and turns, saying he is a libertarian, but sucking up to Repubs. I think he is trying to get a new job, and is sucking up to the folks who can get him that job.
