The reality-based community.

This seemingly inocuous link turns about to be a real doozie.
STEVEN DEN BESTE looks at voodoo politics.
Over to you, Steve.
There's a peculiar thing that's begun to happen to the left in the last few years: when reality is, apparently, too difficult to bear; when things don't go the way they wish things had gone, then they retreat into fantasy. And they're doing it out in public.
Yeah, that nutty left is really out of it.
"But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons [in Iraq], they're wrong. We found them."---Leftist George W. Bush, 5/31/2003

"The level of activity [in Iraq] that we see today from a military standpoint, I think, will clearly decline. I think they're in the last throes, if you will, of the insurgency."--Leftist Dick Cheney, 6/20/05

LEFTIST FOX NEWS REPORTER: According to the polls, your husband now has the third lowest approval rating of any President over the last 50 years, better only than Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter -- and he's even losing some support among conservatives. Why do you think the American people are beginning to lose confidence in your husband?

LEFTIST MRS. LAURA BUSH: Well, I don't think they are. And I don't really believe those polls. - 5/2006
Back to you again, Steve.
A few years ago left-wing bloggers embraced the term "reality-based community", apparently as a response to the the "faith-based community".
Thanks for playing, Steve, but I'm afraid you're wrong. A simple Google search would've told you that "reality-based community" comes from this Ron Suskind article that appeared in the New York Times Magazine. Now go retreat back into your wingnut fantasyland, where Bush is popular, the insurgency in Iraq is about to surrender, and we found WMD in Iraq.

Putz should really start reading his links.

What the hell is "Den Beste"? Is it Dutch for "unfettered projection of my mental illness on others?"

What is especially great about your post is that it illustrates how Instarube points to these complete lunatics and tries to portray their ideas as important when they are in fact masturbatory and hallucinatory.

Oh, and there is no bigger sniveling bunch of punks than the ChicagoGirlyBoyz. Thank god you read this stuff so I don't have to.
