HOWARD KURTZ ROUNDS UP Clintonite complaints about the ABC 9/11 docudrama. Call me crazy, but I don't regard Sandy Berger as trustworthy on the historical record here, as given his document-removal activity I think he had something to hide. This response, of course, will only add to that impression.
Again, note the ad hominem attacks on Berger and the portrayal of anyone correcting the record as a "Clintonite." 9/11 commissioner Richard Ben-Veniste joined the chorus of criticism last night on Olbermann, a day after a former Bush 43 administration official blasted the film for its pure fabrications. And mysteriously, advance copies of the film were given to Rush Limbaugh and right wing bloggers, but President Clinton, Sec. Albright, and Sandy Berger were denied copies. Why would that be?
Putz has the gall to savage the free press for its supposed bias, day after day, yet he embraces the most blantant partisan propaganda when it suits him.
"Hypocrite" is too soft a word for the Putz.
