Why are Americans such morons?

The contempt these people regularly show their fellow citizens is astonishing:

You just can't make this stuff up.

So the publicly-traded, commercially-driven, corporate media is brainwashing the average American into thinking he's doing worse financially than he actually is?

Informed economist: ''But it's not a great economy for most Americans. Many families are actually losing ground, and only a very few affluent people are doing really well.''
