Global warming. Heh.

Another reason to be suspicious of Putz's "non-partisan libertarian" status: his party-line Republican skepticism of global warming:
MISSING THE HURRICANES:

With the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's landfall (August 29, 2005) rapidly approaching, who would have predicted that we would now be in the middle of a near-normal Atlantic hurricane season? Weren't the global warming pundits' predictions for this hurricane season that it would be just as bad -- maybe even worse! -- than last year?

I'm agnostic on global warming predictions, but year-to-year hurricane numbers don't have much to do with global warming, and claims otherwise are mostly hype.

First obvious question: why is Putz "agnostic" on "global warming predictions" when the mainstream scientific community is not?

Also, don't you pretty much have to forfeit your status as an "agnostic" when you link to a known global-warming skeptic who's called the Kyoto treaty a useless "little Band-Aid", and who's also a vocal supporter of Intelligent Design that writes for a website funded by ExxonMobil?

Heh. Indeed.
